CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST ON CLEEN FOUNDATION 20TH ANNIVERSARY

The CLEEN Foundation (formerly known as Centre for Law Enforcement Education) is a nongovernmental organization established in January 1998 with the mission of promoting public safety, security, and accessible justice through empirical research, legislative advocacy, demonstration programs and publications, in partnership with government and civil society.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Event Planners to successfully plan our 20th Anniversary program from conception to completion.
Location: Federal Capital Territory, Abuja

Type of Contract: 1 month

Background
The 20th anniversary is to reflect on our trajectories of engagements; celebrate the achievements of CLEEN Foundation in the past 20 years; and project our strategic plan for the next five years with the view to galvanizing support and partnership around our public safety and security; Accountability and justice; and Research and Strategy Development Programs, as we take bold steps into the future beyond the shores of Nigeria.

Broad Project Objective
This call for proposals is open to qualified event planners resident in Abuja to use their professional experience to successfully organize CLEEN Foundation 20th Anniversary that meets quality expectation within the timeframe.

Lines of Reporting/Position in team
The event planner will work closely with CLEEN Foundation anniversary committee.

Requirements:
 The event planner should be resident in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
 Ability to plan event and manage all project delivery elements within time limits.
 Communication skills
 Ability to liaise with CLEEN Foundation to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfaction
 Ability to conduct market research
 Ability to provide feedback and periodic reports to CLEEN.
 Ability to propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality.
 Demonstrable experience to organize facilities and manage all events’ details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material etc.
 Ability to cooperate with PR to promote and publicize the event.
 Ability to proactively handle any issue arising and troubleshoot any emerging problem on the event day.
 Capacity to conduct pre- and post event evaluations and report on outcomes.
 Ability to meet timelines agreed with CLEEN Foundation.

Interested and qualified event managers should submit their proposals, with the experience and skills described above to: procurement@cleen.org which must include the following:

 A Cover Letter introducing the event planner and if need be, the management and how the skills and competencies described above are met, with concrete examples.
 An impressive portfolio of previously managed events (weddings, meetings, parties, corporate events etc); qualifications with relevant experience (maximum of 3 pages) including two referees conversant with their work. A sample of a previous assessment report(s). pictures are welcomed.
