Triple G, FABE International Commemorates World Environment Day 2021

In commemorating World Environment Day 2021 with the theme #EcosystemRestoration, FABE International Foundation and Triple G Eco Revival Solutions on the 8th of June 2021 planted fruit trees at Christ School Ado Ekiti.

The aim of the tree planting program is to restore our ecosystem, combat climate change, add aesthetic value to the school and also serve as nutrition to the students of the school.

Tree planting is considered to be one of the most interesting and environmentally friendly activities that people can embark on to save our planet. If you want to leave a sustainable environment for the future generations, planting trees is a good starting point.

Present at the program were dignitaries such as the Hon Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Ekiti State, Mrs Iyabo Fakunle-Okiemen, the Senior Special Assistant (Environment) to the Ekiti State Governor Dr Akinyemi Akinyugba, the State Coordinator of National Environment Safety, Regulation and Enforcement (NESREA) Mrs Toroni Abosede, the Principal of Christ School Ado Ekiti, Rev . Canon Olurotimi Oso, the CEO Sinomi Farms, Mr Temitope Adewole, Founder and CEO Triple G Eco Revival Solutions Mrs Oluwaseyi Ebenezer and others.

The Hon Commissioner for Environment who declared the event opened stated the benefits of trees such as fighting against global warming as trees grow, helping to prevent climate change by removing carbon dioxide from the air, storing carbon in it and releasing oxygen into the atmosphere and serving as wind breaker during storms. She also stated that trees contributes immensely by helping in restoring our ecosystem. She advised the students to take care of the trees and their environment.

 

The Founder and CEO of Triple G In her closing remarks appreciated everyone present for the tree planting program despite raining cat and dog. She noted that it shows how committed they all are towards helping humanity and our environment.

She charged the Christ School students to always take care of their environment and the trees planted while also mentioning the huge importance of trees in our environment.

She stated that her organization will not just plant the trees and not follow up with it. She promised that they will make sure the trees planted are well taken care of by coming once a month to treat them through their partner Sinomi Farms.
