Three death and new cases of covid-19 reported by NCDC

Three persons died as a result of COVID-19 complications, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), while 466 new cases were reported on Friday.

On Saturday morning, the NCDC confirmed this in a post on its Facebook page.

The brand-new 466 On Friday, there were 727 instances of COVID-19 infections, down from 727 cases on Thursday.

COVID-19 cases in the country reached 198, 239 on Friday, according to the Public Health Agency.

It stated that 2,588 individuals had died as a result of the disease’s complications, and that on Friday, infections were verified in 12 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

“Lagos (134), Rivers (82), Edo (69), Gombe (39), FCT (32), Kaduna (21), Plateau (20), Benue (19), Kwara (17), Delta (16), Akwa Ibom (10), Bayelsa (5) and Kano (2).

“Today’s report includes: two deaths and eight discharged cases for Lagos are for September 9, 2021 cases from Nasarawa and Sokoto States,” it said.

As of September 10, the NCDC reported 9,871 active coronavirus cases in Nigeria, with 182,780 individuals successfully treated and discharged after recovery.

Over 2. 8 million samples of the virus were analyzed, according to the NCDC, out of the country’s estimated 200 million people.

Meanwhile, the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) reported that Nigeria has immunised 3,901,235 of the total number of people who were eligible for COVID-19 immunization.

On Saturday morning, the NPHCDA announced this via its vaccination database.

It stated that the information was current as of September 10th from 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The immunization organization also stated that 1,658,276 people who were eligible for the vaccine had gotten their initial doses.
