Communications Strategist, Titilayo Oblieye Honoured at Ekiti Outstanding Young Persons’ Award

A Communications Strategist, Multimedia journalist, and Fashion Entrepreneur, Titilayo Obileye has won the 2022 edition of the Ekiti State Outstanding Young Persons Award (Omoluabi Award 2.0) at the Valedictory Lecture and Conference/Youth Forum organised to commemorate the 4th Year Anniversary of Governor Kayode Fayemi’s administration and the Inauguration of the Governor-Elect, Hon. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.

The event was held yesterday at the Conference Hall of the Obafemi Awolowo Civic Centre, Ado-Ekiti.
Titilayo, who earlier this year, received the Journalist of the Year Award (2022) at the International Youth Diplomacy Awards and Conference, University of Ghana Business School, Accra, Ghana for her reportage on promoting youth participation in Sustainable Development in Climate Change has been recognized by the Government of Ekiti State for her contributions to Media development in the state.

She was also shortlisted by the United Nations Framework for Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC) to cover the 2022 edition of the Annual Conference of Parties on Climate Change (COP27) in Egypt after several Climate Justice publications in national newspapers.

Presenting the award, Her Excellency the First Lady of Ekiti State, Erelu Bisi Adeleye Fayemi acknowledged that young persons doing exploits in the state must be duly recognized for their work and contribution to the collective good of the state.

Present at the event was; the Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi; the Governor-Elect, Hon. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji and his wife, Dr (Mrs.) Yemi Oyebanji; Governors and Chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC); Professionals and Academicians of repute.
