Former Chief of Staff to Imo Government, Mr Uche Nwosu, has congratulated Speaker of House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, on his appointment as President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff.
Nwosu, while lauding his appointment by the president in a statement on Friday in Abuja, said that he is the best man for the job.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that President Tinubu announced the appointment of Femi Gbajabiamila as his chief of staff in a statement by the State House Director of Media, Abiodun Oladunjoye
Also, former Deputy Governor of Jigawa state, Sen Ibrahim Hadejia as Deputy Chief of Staff and former Minister of Special Duties, George Akume as Secretary to the Government of the Federation(SGF).
“On behalf of my family and Board of Ugwumba Center for Leadership Development in Africa, I congratulate Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila on his appointment as the Chief of Staff to the President of Nigeria.
“This appointment is well deserved and it is a true reflection of the fact that the reward for hard work is more work.
“Your sojourn in the Federal House of Representatives has contributed immensely to the development of our country, having served as Minority Whip; Minority Leader; Opposition Leader; Majority Leader and finally as Speaker.
“As the Speaker of the House of Representatives, your intervention in the eight months long ASUU and FG impasse was what saved the Nigerian University system from total collapse.
“Your appointment is highly remarkable and you are the best man for the job as a bridge builder, coupled with your political experiences over the years, you perfectly fit into your new position,” he said.
Nwosu said that he looked forward to seeing the new chief of staff assist the president in unifying the country.
