Don hails Supreme court judgment

Dr Adams Agahiu, the Director of National Education Summit, has hailed the Supreme Court judgment affirming electoral victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the February 25 presidential election.

 

Agahiu said this while addressing newsmen on Monday in Abuja.

 

He stated that the judgment was a confirmation of the peoples mandate freely given to President Tinubu in February 2023.

 

“Therefore, litigation by aggrieved parties is part of the judicial and electoral process which has ended with the Supreme Court judgment.

 

“The highest court in Nigeria has confirmed the interest of majority Nigerians.

 

“President Tinubu has achieved tremendously since assumption of office by trying to stabilize the polity and economy.

 

“I congratulate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the deserved victory and as a reward for hard work,” he said.

 

Agahiu however said that there were certain decisions taken by the Tinubu-led government, which seem to be unpalatable with the masses.

 

He however said that Nigerians should be patient for the end results of the governments plans and actions.

 

“In the end Nigerians will laugh best, there is no need for political jobbers to distract the President.

 

“I therefore call on opposition parties presidential candidates in the likes of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Peoples Democratic Party PDP, and Peter Obi, Labour Party LP.

 

“With their supporters to sheathe their sword and cue in to the reformation and revitalization projects of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to move Nigeria forward, he said”.

 

He congratulated all members of Tinubu’s government, especially the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuff Tugar who was working hard to give new image and meanings to Nigcria’s image abroad.
